01

Who we are

Luna Labs is the trading name of Luna Learning Labs AB, a Swedish company (organization number 559532-5290) with its registered office at Skanstorget 10C, 411 22 Göteborg, Sweden. We build a company brain: a place where an organization curates its own knowledge, and connected AI tools can look that knowledge up. The service is run by its two founders, Hannes Hård af Segerstad and Wilma Deleryd.

In this document, "Luna Labs", "we" and "us" mean the company. "You" means the organization that has an account with us, and the people who use the service on that organization's behalf. Contact: hannes@luna-labs.io.

02

Agreeing to these terms

Browsing luna-labs.io commits you to nothing. By creating an account, connecting an AI tool to Luna Labs, or using the service in any other way, you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you are allowed to do so.

We may update these terms. If a change materially affects you, we will tell the account's administrators by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the new version.

03

What the service does

Luna Labs consists of:

  • The web app at app.luna-labs.io, where your organization uploads and imports documents, answers mapping interviews, reviews proposed changes, and curates the knowledge that becomes your company brain.
  • The MCP server at app.luna-labs.io/mcp, which lets AI tools such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor read the knowledge your organization has curated, on behalf of a signed-in member of your organization who has authorized that tool. A connected tool can also propose new knowledge, but nothing it proposes enters the company brain until a person in your organization reviews and accepts it.
  • Source connections to Google Drive, Microsoft SharePoint and OneDrive, and other systems we add over time, which bring existing documents into Luna Labs for review.
  • A private personal knowledge layer (Personal OS), available in preview to some accounts, where an individual keeps notes that only that individual and the AI tools they authorize can read.
  • The Chrome extension and the macOS app, older clients that some people still use to improve prompts and reach the same knowledge from where they work.

Luna Labs is early software in a pilot phase. Features change, and some parts are incomplete. We build in the open with our customers rather than promising a frozen product.

04

Accounts and access

Accounts belong to organizations. An organization has owners and administrators who can invite members, set roles, connect and disconnect sources, and revoke access, including access that a member has granted to an AI tool.

  • You are responsible for keeping account credentials secure.
  • You are responsible for what the people in your organization do with the service.
  • You must be at least 18 years old to use Luna Labs. It is a tool for work.
  • Administrators can remove a member at any time in the app, which immediately ends that person's access to the organization's knowledge.
05

Your content stays yours

Everything your organization puts into Luna Labs (documents, imported files, interview answers, curated knowledge, prompts, and anything derived from them) belongs to your organization. We claim no ownership of it.

You give us permission to store and process that content for one purpose only: to run the service for you. That includes storing it in our database, splitting it into searchable pieces, and sending relevant parts to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy so that answers can be generated. The permission ends when you delete the content or close the account.

We do not use your content to train AI models, and we do not sell it or share it with anyone outside the subprocessors named in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for having the right to upload, import or connect what you bring into Luna Labs, and for not putting content into Luna Labs that you are not allowed to share with your own colleagues or with an AI provider.

06

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Try to reach another organization's data, or probe our systems for weaknesses without asking us first.
  • Disrupt the service, or place automated load on it beyond normal use.
  • Resell or sublicense the service without a written agreement with us.
  • Use Luna Labs to store or distribute unlawful content, or to break the law.
  • Reverse engineer the service, except where that right cannot be waived by law.

If you find a security problem, please write to hannes@luna-labs.io before disclosing it. We will not pursue anyone who reports a problem in good faith and gives us a fair chance to fix it.

07

Connected AI tools and sources

When a member of your organization connects an AI tool to Luna Labs, that tool can read the knowledge that member is allowed to read, and can propose additions for a person to review. The connection is authorized per person and can be revoked at any time by that person or by an organization administrator.

The AI tools themselves (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor and others) are run by their own providers under their own terms. We are not affiliated with them, and what those tools do with the answers they receive is governed by their terms, not ours.

When your organization connects a source such as Google Drive or SharePoint, you decide which folders or files are included, and you can disconnect the source at any time. Those providers' terms apply to your use of their services alongside ours.

AI answers can be wrong. Luna Labs grounds answers in the material your organization curated, which reduces invention but does not eliminate it. Check anything that matters before acting on it.

08

Fees

Pricing is agreed with each customer in writing during the pilot phase, typically as a setup fee for the mapping work plus a monthly subscription. Fees are stated excluding VAT, which is added where applicable. If we change the price of an ongoing subscription, we will give at least 30 days' notice before the change applies.

09

Ending the agreement

You can stop using Luna Labs and ask us to close your organization's account at any time by writing to hannes@luna-labs.io. A subscription runs until the end of the period you have paid for.

We can suspend or end an account if it is used in breach of section 6, if fees go unpaid after a reminder, or if we have to stop operating the service. Except for serious misuse, we will give reasonable notice and a chance to export your content first.

After an account is closed we delete the organization's content, including its documents, imports and the knowledge derived from them. Backups roll off within 30 days.

10

Availability

We aim for a reliable service but do not promise a specific uptime figure during the pilot phase, and we do not offer service credits. We may take the service down for maintenance, and we will try to do it outside Swedish office hours.

11

Warranties and liability

Luna Labs is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we do not give warranties that the service will be uninterrupted, error free, or fit for a particular purpose, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as lost profits or lost data value.

Our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits liability for intentional wrongdoing, gross negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited under Swedish law.

12

Privacy and personal data

How we handle data, where it is stored, and who processes it is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of this agreement. For personal data that your organization puts into Luna Labs, your organization is the controller and we are the processor. If you need a signed data processing agreement, write to us and we will provide one.

13

Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Swedish law. If something goes wrong, write to us first: we would much rather solve it in an email than in a courtroom. If that fails, the dispute goes to the Swedish courts, with Göteborg District Court (Göteborgs tingsrätt) as the court of first instance.

14

The remaining details

  • If one part of these terms turns out to be invalid, the rest still applies.
  • Not enforcing a term once does not mean we give it up.
  • You may not transfer this agreement without our consent. We may transfer it if the company is sold or reorganized, and we will tell you if that happens.
  • If you send us feedback or ideas about the product, we may use them to improve Luna Labs without owing you anything for it.
  • These terms and the Privacy Policy are the whole agreement between us, unless we have signed something else with you.
